• Surround yourself with positive people. Get rid of all the negative energy around you. You can be miserable by yourself, why would you need a friend who only has bad things to say about everyone and everything.
CONFIDENCE & SELF RESPECT
• If you have confidence in yourself others will too.
• There is an old saying “Respect your self and others will too”
• If you feel your worthless others will too. So take measure of your
SELF WORTH!
ACCEPTANCE
• Accept yourself for who you are – A beautiful Diva, A gorgeous plus size diva
• You are probably never going to be a size 2 so choose a realistic goal and make a plan on how to stick to it.

Remember every body is unique, But chances are your figure fits one of the classic shapes below.
Balance and proportion are the goal, no matter what your body type.
Whether you wear a size 16 or larger, it always helps to know your body type/ shape and how to buy & select styles that will emphasize your positive features and down play the negative....
Hour Glass Shape
Well Balanced shoulders and hips with a smaller, well-defined waist. Your goal is to maintain your natural balance while accenting your waist.
To Flatter your figure define your waist by wearing dark belts on light fabrics and tops with straight or full skirts. Drop-waist styles are flattering for you as well as jackets cropped above the waist, Styles that does not cling, Wrap-style tops & dresses shaped tops & jackets. Select soft flowing lines in any combination of prints or solids
Try to avoid Clingy fabrics, Form-fitting styles, Bulky & shapeless tops. Avoid tent dresses or any styles that have only a minimal amount of shape.
Triangle Shape
More narrow shoulders and a smaller bust line with wider hips and legs. Your goal is to create a visual balance between your narrow upper body and wider lower body.
Looks that flatter your figure are Styles that accent your waist, Boot-cut pants, and Defined shoulders for balance, Tops & blouses with collars. Use shoulder pads, embellishment and accessories to draw attention to the upper body. Ruffled collars and bold jewelry draw the eye upward. De-emphasized your hips, bottom and thigh areas by wearing dark solids or small prints.
Try to Avoid Too-short skirts, Skin-tight styles & Bottoms that add bulk
Oval Shape
Bust, waist, and hips same size, slim arms and legs. Your goal is to draw attention away from the midriff / tummy area. Redirect the eye to your face or legs
Looks that Flatter your figure are Fluid fabrics, Create strong, vertical lines using long jackets over short or straight shirts
